There is a Low Pressure near the Bay of Bengal and west Bengal. It is expected to move in the North Westwards direction instead of more Westward direction as earlier forecast. There is also a Convective system over South Rajastan.
Forecast for Rajkot, Saurashtra : 8th to 13th July
Saurashtra will receive light to moderate rainfall under the combined effect of the Convective System over South Rajastan and the influence of the Low Pressure in the East.

50 % of Saurashtra will receive light scattered rainfall during the forecast period totalling 1.5 Cms. to 2.5 Cms.
30 % of Saurashtra will receive moderate scattered rainfall during the forecast period totalling 2.5 Cms. to 4 Cms.
20 % of Saurashtra will scattered moderate to heavy rainfall during the forecast period totalling 4 Cms. to 6 Cms. with Isolated places getting higher rainfall.
Forecast for North Gujrat & Kutch: 8th to 13th July
North Gujarat will get moderate rainfall ranging from 4 Cms. to 10 Cms. with more amount of rainfall towards the South Rajastan border.
Kutch will get some rainfall due to movement of the Sytem from North Gujarat in Westward direction.
Forecast for Rest of India : 8th to 13th July
Areas forecast to get 10 Cms. to 20 Cms of rainfall:
West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Chhatishgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttranchal, Punjab, Haryana, H.P., Whole Rajastan excluding NW parts, Coastal Karnataka, Coastal Maharashtra, Goa, North Madhya Pradesh, & All the North Eastern States. Isolated places from these areas could get higher amounts too.
