Monsoon is active over Saurashtra. Yesterday good rainfall had occurred over parts of Bhavnagar, Amreli, Junagadh Districts and to lesser extent over Jamnagar, Porbundar and Rajkot Districts. The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation in the Arabian Sea South Of Saurashtra persists. Rajkot City did not receive significant rainfall yesterday even though the convective clouds had passed over whole of Saurashtra including Rajkot.

Today rainfall is expected over many parts of Saurashtra. The rainfall would start from Coastal areas of Bhavnagar, Amreli and Junagadh Districts and is expected to move inland towards Rajkot, Surendranagar District and subsequently cover Jamnagar District. Quantity of rainfall will vary greatly from places to places.
