The Cyclonic Storm "WARD" has tracked North Westwards during the past 12 Hours and is currently lying at 10N 84.2E about 500 Kms. East South East of Tamilnadu Coast. The Central Pressure of the System is 989 Mb. with winds of 80 Kms./Hour and gusts of 100 Kms./Hour. The sea is rough with wave heights of 4 Meters.

Forecast:

The Tropical Cyclone "WARD" or the Cyclonic Storm "WARD" is expected to track in the North Westerly direction during the next 12 Hours towards the Tamilnadu Coast. However, there is a possibility of track change in which case system may track along the Tamilnadu – Andhra Coast.

Heavy to very heavy rains are forecast for Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu between 12th/13th to 16th December.
