Current Weather Conditions on 13th April 2013 @ 10.30 am.

The Maximum Temperature were 2 to 3 Degrees below normal on 9th to 11th April and has increased from yesterday over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat and have reached near normal. The normal Temperature over Gujarat is high during April & May so even if the Temperature is normal heat is felt during the afternoon. The normal Maximum Temperature for Rajkot is 39.0 C. and yesterday recorded 38.3 C. similarly for Ahmedabad the normal Maximum Temperature is 40.0 C. against yesterday recorded 39.3 C.

Forecast: 13th to 17th April 2013

The Maximum Temperature will remain high during the forecast period and will be near normal to above normal. Hot conditions will prevail during the forecast period with higher Temperature over parts of Central and North Gujarat compared to Saurashtra & Kutch. The winds will vary and will blow from Northwest, West and sometimes from Southwest during the forecast period in Saurashtra. Wind speed is expected to be high at around 25 to 30 Kms./hour on 16th & 17th April.
