The Convective System from West Madhya Pradesh mentioned on 10th July moved North Westwards and reached over Rajastan giving good rain there upto 12th July, instead of Saurashtra. Hence, last forecast rain for Saurashtra did not materialize.

Currently Monsoon to remain weak over Saurashtra for the next few days as had been mentioned on 10th July 2008 as "Note: There will be lull in rainfall activity over Saurashtra after this period."
