The Deep Depression in the Bay of Bengal has strengthened further to Cyclone strength. Officially IMD/RSMC is the monitoring agency and this system will be named as Cyclonic Storm "KHAI-MUK" soon. Currently the system is located at 14.4 N. and 83.9E. around 350 Kms. from Andhra Coast with 80 Kms/Hour winds gusting upto 110 Kms/hour with central pressure of 989 Mb.(Wind speed depicted are in Kms/Hour one minute average speed) The wave heigth is 3.3 Meters.
Expected Landfall: Near Machilipatnam on Andhra Coast on 15th November evening 6.00 pm.
Wide spread rainfall is expected along Coastal Orissa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Coastal Tamilnadu till 16th November.
