The Well Marked Low Pressure over the Bay of Bengal has further intensified by two notches to a Deep Depression on 17th November at 1200 UTC (5.30 pm. IST) at location 16 N. & 89 E. about 500 Kms. Southeast of Odisha Coast. Subsequently it lay quasi stationary around that area at 1800 UTC of 17th November ( 11.30 pm. IST). System has 1002 Mb. Pressure and Winds of 55 Kms./hour gusting up to 75 Kms./hour.
JTWC is monitoring this System as 03B.THREE with 35 knots Winds and 996 Mb. Pressure.

The Deep Depression may intensify further to a Cyclonic Storm.
This System will track initially towards the Odisha coast but will remain about 300 Kms from the Coast. Subsequently the System is expected to track about 250 to 300 Kms from the Odisha Coast and then about similar distance in Sea from Andhra coast and North Tamilnadu coast during the next two days. In short the System will remain about 250 to 300 Kms. away from Odisha, Andhra till it comes East of North Tamilnadu.
