The weather over Saurashtra has remained mainly clear and the daytime Temperatures have increased by a few Degrees during the last two days. The nighttime Temperature is on decreasing trend but at a slow pace. The Minimum Temperature for Rajkot has been near normal to slightly above normal at about 17 to 19 Degrees.
The Low pressure area from South India has tracked from 4N. 80E. along the Kerala Karnataka Coast and fizzled out. However, the convective clouds associated have given good rainfall along the Western Peninsula and currently raining over Southern Maharashtra. the rain belt runs from South Maharashtra North Eastwards towards Chhatisgarh and Bihar.
No significant climate or weather event expected for the next few days for whole of Gujarat and Saurashtra as well as most parts of India.
