The Deep Depression over Eastcentral Bay of Bengal tracked Westwards and lay centered at 1200 UTC (1730 hrs IST ) of today 18th November 2012 over Westcentral Bay of Bengal near latitude 16.00N and longitude 87.50E, about 400 Kms. Southeast of Odisha & North Andhra Coast and about 850 Kms. East Northeast of Chennai. The system would move slowly West Southwestwards parallel to the South Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu coastline remaining about 300 to 350 Kms. away for next 48 hrs. Current scenario suggests that the System will not intensify further. Similar outlook has also been given by JTWC as well as RSMC/IMD.
