The second Major Western Disturbance approached India around 3rd/4th February and affected most parts of North India as well as Saurashtra Kutch & Gujarat. There was unseasonal scattered light rain in Kutch and some Western parts of Saurashtra and North Gujarat. The Maximum & Minimum Temperatures plummeted by 5 to 6 Degrees on 6th/7th february. Yesterday’s Maximum and this morning Minimum Temperature over Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Surat & Bhuj are given along with normal Temperature for respective Cities. Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 8th to 11th February 2013
The Maximum and Minimum Temperature has started increasing from today and is expected to rise further over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat thereby making both them near normal or even above normal by Monday. The Maximum at Rajkot is expected to go above 30-31 C. by Monday. Winds will be mainly from North/Northeast and the speed is expected to decrease.
