The Maximum Temperature over most parts of Gujarat, Suarashtra & Kutch has declined marginally yesterday. The Maximum Temperature at Rajkot was 39.9 C. yesterday against normal of 39.0 C. similarly Max. at Ahmedabad was 40.0 C. which was normal.

Forecast: 17th to 22nd April 2013

Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat:

The Maximum Temperature will be around near normal and they will not rise higher during the forecast period. The winds will be around 15 to 20 Kms/hour and in evening to night the winds will abruptly go up to 30 to 40 Kms. on most of the days of forecast period. Due to upper level instability there is high chance of unseasonal showers/rain over scattered areas of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat everyday till 22nd April.

Rest Of India:

Higher quantum of unseasonal rain/showers is expected over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhatishgarh, Orissa, West Bengal and parts of Maharashtra & Andhra Pradesh during the forecast period.
